تو يه سريال پليسی ميگفت که يه دارو هست به نام Ibogaine که ميتونه اعتياد به بعضی مواد مخدر رو ظرف بيست و چهار ساعت از بين ببره. بدون عوارض جانبی و نود و نه درصد موفقيت. حالا سوال اينجاست که اگه اين دارو اينقدر خوبه، چرا همگانی نميشه و واسه درمان اين همه معتاد ازش استفاده نميکنن. جواب اینه که چون ظاهرن اين دارو پر فروش نيست، هيچ شرکت دارويی آمريکايی ، حاضر نيست روش سرمايه گذاری کنه و جواز توليد واسش بگيره. به همين سادگی.

I can imagine that there might be many little things in the background of it.Such as extreme side effects. For example many psycho medicines are not used due to the side effects.

Now that you are the addiction expert, I wonder why you have so much time to read the blogs instead of earning buckets of money by selling your receipe to Pharmacytical companies. Believe it or not, I have empaty with you since you must think you are very funny. Strange, I don't understand why I cannot laugh.
pharmaceutical companies are no charity! and no one can make them mass produce a drug that they don't want to... and this drug is not the first that didn't go through long and expensive licensing process only because it won't make enough profit for drug companies...
there is another drug - cannot remember the name for the life of me - that is used to treat some sort of disease common in developing countries such as south america and india and it's been around for decades... recently scientists discovered that it is also beneficial for treating particular types of cancer... now, while the pills are still available in developing countries for a few cents a pop, same companies charge north americans for tens of thousands of dollar for a full treatment and since it's too expensive most insurance companies don't even cover it... so go figure how some companies make a fortune trading people's lives and they can stil sleep at night!
